Yes, always. We are the licensed contractor of record, so we prepare the drawings, file them with Broward or Palm Beach, and walk the plan through review and every inspection. You never stand in a permit line and you never sign for the work under your own name.

Less time than most people expect, and we tell you the number before you commit. Demolition, waterproofing and the flood test, tile, then glass and fixtures, each with a date you can plan around. Shower glass is the one step nobody can rush, because the enclosure is only measured once the tile is set. If it is your only bathroom, say so early and we plan the order of work around keeping it usable as long as possible.

That is the part we refuse to rush. Waterproofing is a membrane system behind the tile, not the tile itself, and we flood test the pan before a single tile goes down. Tile is the decoration. The membrane is the shower, and it is exactly what the inspection checks, which is one more reason we always pull the permit.

That is the most common job we do in this room. The tub comes out, the drain usually has to move, and the new pan gets built to the size the space actually allows, which is almost always larger than the tub footprint. We price it two ways in writing before you decide anything: a low threshold you step over once, or a fully curbless entry recessed into the slab, which costs more and earns it if a walker or a wheelchair is anywhere in the picture. None of it has to look clinical either. Grab bars come in the same finish as your fixtures and read as towel bars, and a bench in the same stone as the walls is a bench.
